Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Vitória Sport Clube for the signing of André Almeida. The 22-year-old Portuguese midfielder joins on a contract through to June 30th, 2028.

Almeida came up through the ranks at Vitória SC and in 2019 made the move to the first team at the Portuguese club. He has also been capped by Portugal up to Under-21 level.

Despite his young age, he has already played more than 70 games in the Primeira Liga. This season he has been a starter for Vitória SC in all three of their league games played, and has provided two assists.

Almeida is a versatile, skillful midfielder who can occupy several positions, and is considered to be one of the players with the most potential in Portugal. He arrives at Mestalla to reinforce the Valencia CF midfield and strengthen the team's identity.
